Mangosteen Season

Mangosteen season holds a special place in my heart, as it is a time of celebration and indulgence for the people of Malaysia. Coinciding with the season of durians, the revered king of fruits in the region, it becomes a vibrant period of feasting and enjoyment.

During this season, I would often visit the farms to partake in the bountiful durian buffet. At these gatherings, there would always be a rattan basket brimming with delicious mangosteens to feast on as well.

The artworks in this theme capture the vivid memories of those cherished moments, as I would peer into the basket, selecting the perfect purple fruit to savor.

These experiences, filled with the enticing flavors of the season, remain some of the most treasured and joyous times in my life.
